MORREU PHIL RAMONE
Phil Ramone, que co-produziu "Time Takes Time", de Ringo Starr, e produziu “Valotte” e “The Secret Value of Daydreaming”, de Julian Lennon, além de faixas de Paul McCartney, “Once Upon A Long Ago,” “P.S. Love Me Do,” “Only Love Remains,” “Spies Like Us,” e “Strangehold", morreu hoje com 72 anos, vítima de um aneurisma.
Foi o pioneiro do CD com "52nd Street", de Billy Joel, em 1982.
Phil was a great friend of mine for many years. We first worked together when I recorded Another Day in New York at (Ramone's) A&R Studios. He was a very sweet man who combined this with expert knowledge of both engineering and production. I'll always remember him as a great friend that I knew, loved and admired over the many years that we worked and played together.
