The greater part of them is based on "fados", the typical Portuguese songs which are accompanied by guitars.
The fados can be heard in the authentic atmosphere of the little cafés that are mainly frequented by Portuguese. Here, amid smoke and wine, the fados are sung by entertainers and customers alike.

Sim, o primeiro produtor dos Beatles e co-autor de "Strangers In The Night".

Um dos maiores maestros, arranjadores e compositores de todos os tempos! Além do Strangers in the Night, Kämpfert escreveu outros sucessos para o Frank Sinatra, como My Way of Life, etc.
O álbum Swinging Safari, dos anos 60, continua até hoje sendo campeão de vendas dentro do estilo orquestral e contém várias composições dele.
